Applying for a special home

You can apply for one of our special homes by contacting the social care officer of your hometown.

For example, the first two floors of our apartment house at Louhenkatu 2 have been rented to Eskoo, the centre for disability empowerment. The group home for eight people on the first floor offers round-the-clock living support. The seven sheltered housing apartments on the second floor are meant for more independent living.

In 2017, a new apartment house was built at Risuviita 6 in the residential area of Kasperi. Nine of the apartments have been rented to Eskoo, and they are intended for residents with autism spectrum disorders.

Eskoo arranges special moving training for those planning to move to their own apartment.
