Can you apply for a student apartment?
You can apply for a student apartment if you are studying full-time at an educational institution in Seinäjoki or coming to Seinäjoki for a work internship. A student certificate or an acceptance certificate must be attached to the application.
Other applicants may only be offered a fixed-term rental agreement, for a maximum of 1 year, ending no later than 31 August. During the summer, apartments can be rented for 1–5 months. Housing is applied for using a student apartment application. The apartments are mainly furnished shared apartments.”
Application procedure
All apartments are applied for using a housing application.
You can fill in the application electronically on our website. When filling in the application, it is important to describe your situation as accurately as possible. Apartments are offered based on applicants’ income, assets, and urgency.
After you have submitted the application, we will contact you immediately if we have an apartment to offer you. The application is valid for three months at a time. You can extend the validity of your application by notifying us either by email at vuokraus@sevas.fi
or by calling 06 420 3311, option 1.
