The new student apartments will be ready for move-in by January 1, 2026.
You can now apply for an apartment.
GOOD TO KNOW
The rent includes an Elisa 50M internet connection (via Ethernet port). Residents may purchase their own Wi-Fi router if desired.
The building features a shared sauna, laundry room, and drying room. Each resident also has a personal storage cage in the basement (lock provided by the tenant).
The apartments are unfurnished and do not include a dishwasher. The property is smoke-free, and smoking is not allowed inside the apartments.
Apartments are always rented for full calendar months.
The building includes 35 parking spaces — an excellent addition for a student housing property. However, spaces are limited and cannot be guaranteed for all residents.
Nearby, residents can enjoy beautiful riverside outdoor trails and diverse sports facilities, offering excellent opportunities for an active lifestyle.
Everyday services, such as grocery stores and other schools, are just a short walk away.
Tenants completing their military service may continue to live in Sevas student apartments during or after their studies, for the entire duration of their service.
BEING A MINOR
A minor can move into a Sevas Kodit student apartment.
The guardian is responsible, as guarantor, for the child’s rent and housing until the child reaches the age of majority. In this case, a guardian’s consent form must be completed.

HOW TO APPLY FOR AN APARTMENT
First, fill out the online student apartment application using the button below.
Please make sure to mention in your application that you are applying for an apartment at Jouppilantie 15.
When submitting your application, provide the most recent student certificate dated for the current year or an acceptance letter from your educational institution.
Once you have completed the application on our website and submitted your student certificate, we will process your application.
Apartment offers will be sent by email to the address provided on the application.
If there is more than one applicant on the same application, please ensure that the information for both applicants is correct.

VIEWING THE APARTMENT AFTER RECEIVING AN OFFER BY EMAIL
Apartment viewings cannot be arranged until the new building is completed.

We follow the guidelines set by VARKE in our tenant selection, aiming to offer apartments to those who need them most.
Priority in tenant selection is given to the homeless and others with the most urgent housing needs, as well as applicants with the lowest income and least financial resources.
Factors affecting tenant selection include, among others, the urgency of the housing need, life situation, income, and assets.
NEGATIVE CREDIT RECORD
If you have lost your credit information, it can be difficult to find housing on the open market.
However, payment defaults are not a barrier to obtaining an apartment from Sevas Kodit. Loss of credit information may affect the amount of the requested deposit and the form of the rental agreement.
