Grilling on balconies is prohibited on gas, charcoal, pellet and disposable grills. The use of smoking equipment is also prohibited. We only allow electric grills in balcony grilling.
- In single-storey terraced houses, we have allowed grilling with safe barbecue equipment (e.g. charcoal and gas grills). Making an open fire is prohibited.
- A gas, charcoal, or pellet grill should be placed at least 4 feet away from the building, eaves, and other combustible structures. The grill must not be used under a canopy or balcony.
- Please note that barbecuing must not cause unreasonable odour/smoke nuisance to neighbours. If this happens, the grilling must be stopped immediately.
- Please also make sure that fire extinguishing equipment is within reach.
- The person lighting the grill is always responsible for any damage.
