How do I terminate my rental agreement when moving from one Sevas apartment to another?
You must terminate your rental agreement in the OmaSevas service.
When you are moving from one Sevas apartment to another and signing a new rental agreement with us starting from the beginning of the following month, the OmaSevas service will not allow you to terminate your current rental agreement effective on the last day of the current month. In this case, the service will terminate your current rental agreement according to the calendar month, effective on the last day of the following month.
Example: If you submit your termination in February and your new rental agreement begins on 1 March, the system will record the end date of your current rental agreement as 31 March, even if the move itself takes place at the beginning of March.
You do not need to worry about this, however. Once we have received your termination, our customer service representative will review it and, if necessary, end your current rental agreement on the last day of February.
Please note that before signing a new rental agreement, you must not have any outstanding debts to Sevas.
